this compilation is for those of you who don’t understand why tracy is the way she is. or who those of you wonder why i consider Jane Elliot a goddess of the acting community and Tracy Quartermaine a true role model. these are the top heartbreaking moments (in about a half hour) of tracy’s that lend insight into what makes her so bitter, cynical, and why she rarely lowers her tough facade. does she make mistakes? yes, for she is human. does she have flaws? yes, for she is human. and yet unlike the other residents of port charles, she seems to be the single person who can never be forgiven. who must be vilified at every turn. who has to endure multiple public “stoning” events, if you will. who most of them think doesn’t deserve basic respect, decency, and love. i will forever love tracy and if these scenes don’t bring you close to tears, then you have no soul :)

and it is my belief that there are three tiers that tracy categorizes important people in her life in: cares about… loves… needs their approval/ love/ forgiveness/ attention more than anything. for example monica, ethan, and brook lynn would be on the bottom tier… alan, dillon, and lulu would be on the middle tier… and ned, edward, and luke would be on the top tier. the moments i have chosen show that, as they all have to do with those top three men. she cares about their opinion of her and she needs to be the most important to them. and she is always disappointed. i broke it down by these three men so that it would flow more smoothly as opposed to putting the clips in order of most heartbreaking.

Everybody in Port Charles is basically an asshole, or has at least done something COMPLETELY horrific at some point in their time on the show.

EVERYONE ON THIS SHOW IS A LITTLE SHIT. But SOME people get crucified while others get off scott free. People have not gone to jail for the WORST things on this show, and other have gone to jail for stupid shit.

I often find that it’s women who are given less slack.
